10th Annual Hot Topics Seminar


Complimentary Seminar Hosted by the Planned Giving Committee of the Regional Parks Foundation and Farella Braun + Martel. We are offering 1.5 hours of complimentary continuing education credit for attorneys and accountants. (This program qualifies for 1.5 hours of General MCLE credit. Farella Braun + Martel LLP certifies that this program conforms to the State Bar of California’s MCLE Rules.)

At this complimentary seminar, we will:

  • Unpack the new reporting requirements for legal entities, including exemptions from filing, with the first reports due March 31, 2024
  • Review the implications for nonprofit organizations, especially those with complex corporate structures
  • Discuss practical approaches for estate planners, including actions that can be taken in 2024 for pre-existing entities to reduce the burden of reporting in 2025
