Learning the Basics of Estate Planning

The Planned Giving Subcommittee of the Regional Parks Foundation invites you to attend free estate planning seminars that are hosted throughout the year via Zoom. Each seminar is presented by the Planned Giving Subcommittee of the Regional Parks Foundation.

Topics include: Wills, Revocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Irrevocable Trusts, Life Insurance/Retirement Plans, Charitable Trusts and Estate Trusts.

Learn about why everyone needs an estate plan, and why a will isn’t enough. Not sure where to begin? This introductory seminar will get you started.

Topics covered during the seminar include:

  • wills
  • charitable trusts and estate trusts
  • designating beneficiaries
  • powers of attorney
  • health care directives
  • revocable and irrevocable trusts

After the seminar, attendees will have an opportunity to ask general questions.
