50th Anniversary Gala

Regional Parks Foundation’s 50th Anniversary Gala is Thursday, October 10, 2019!

We are currently sold out for this event. For additional information, please contact: Juliana Schirmer, Development Director, jschirmer@ebparks.org or 510-544-2212.

As we celebrate our golden anniversary, we would like to stand together with you as our valued members, donors, and partners.

This, A Night to Remember, Golden Gala, will directly benefit the work of the Regional Parks Foundation as we support the East Bay Regional Park District’s parks and programs. This is a continued investment in our work of Protecting Parks, Connecting People!

The event will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. The celebration will bring us back to our founding in 1969, where guests are invited to wear their best 60’s apparel (or cocktail attire), as we cherish our past and plan for our future. Guests participate in a fine dining experience with Beets Hospitality, awards ceremony for park champions, and finally a premium concert with Grammy-Award Winning musician, Michael McDonald!

Your support makes it possible for the Regional Parks Foundation to meet our mission to support the East Bay Regional Park District to provide universal access, environmental stewardship, education and recreational programs and the acquisition of parklands.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in October! It will truly be a night to remember!

We are grateful for our Night to Remember gala sponsors:

  • Join us in celebrating the East Bay Regional Park District’s 90 years of milestones and history of environmental conservation and positive experiences in nature!

  • I notice how the hill has many dragonflies on it and how the crisp sunlight melts over the bugs, blending them in with cool shadows while the soft flowers come out from the damp forest floor. -Isla, Camper at Redwood Reinhardt Regional Park

  • East Bay Regional Parks are one of the best things about the Bay, I want everyone to be able to experience them. - Matt C., Member & Donor

  • This was the first field trip my students ever went on. The self-esteem, the joy and the fulfillment of being part of this special event supported growth and community life skills for each of my students! – Teacher at Turner Elementary in Antioch, Disability Fishing Derby Participant
