Planned Giving & Estate Planning
In addition to being able to support the work of the Foundation through regular donations, the Foundation is also pleased to accept legacy gifts through bequests and charitable remainder trusts. This type of charitable contribution can not only support the Regional Parks and its programs in perpetuity, but may also provide substantial tax savings.
To help donors and supporters make informed decisions on estate planning and the options that are available, the Regional Parks Foundation hosts several estate planning workshops throughout the year. These workshops are lead by professionals in the field of estate planning and wealth management, and take place at a variety of locations for added convenience. Each workshop is presented by the Planned Giving Committee of the Regional Parks Foundation:
Robert Jacques, CFP®, Chair
Carla S. Bryant, CPA
Mowat Mackie & Anderson LLP
Carol L. Hoffman, J.D., LL.M.

Kirsten Howe, J.D.

Paul D. Hunt, J.D.
Law Offices of Paul D. Hunt
Mark T. Weaver, Esq.

After each seminar, attendees are provided with the opportunity to meet individually with an estate planning and wealth management professional for a free consultation to address specific questions.
