1. What discounts are available for Membership?
There are 3 types of discounted Memberships for residents of Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Discounted Memberships are available for students, seniors (defined as a person 62 year of age or older), and disabled people. Students need to be currently enrolled full-time and provide proof of their current full-time status (e.g. a copy of current class schedule) in order to receive the discounted Membership. Discounted Memberships are not available to those living outside of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

Discounted Memberships are not available to those living outside of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

 


3. What is a Senior Partner Pass? 
The Senior Partner Pass is a second, discounted Senior Membership Card that is sent to the address of the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership. Because of the discounted nature, the Senior Partner Pass includes the single benefit of day-use parking only. The Senior Partner, as in all other Memberships, must be a named individual. A Senior Partner Pass can only be purchased with a Senior Individual Membership or Senior Angler Membership - it cannot be purchased by itself.

 


4. What comes with a Senior Partner Pass?
The Senior Partner Pass includes an Individual Senior Membership Card and parking placard. It is a discounted Individual Senior Membership that includes the single benefit of day-use parking only and can only be purchased as an add-on to a full-price Senior Individual Membership or Senior Angler Membership. Also, all Membership materials for the Senior Partner are mailed to the household of the Member with the full-price Senior Individual Membership.

 


5. Can I add a Senior Partner Pass to a Regular Individual Membership?
A Senior Partner Pass can only be added to a Senior Individual Membership or Senior Angler Membership. It cannot be addedto any other type of Individual Membership (i.e. Regular, Disabled Person, or Student).

 


6. Can I sign up for a Senior Partner Pass and not identify someone specifically?
No. The Senior Partner Pass is a second Senior Individual Membership purchased at a discount and sent to the address of the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership. The Senior Partner, as in all other Memberships, must be a named individual.

 


7. I have a Senior Partner Pass on my friend's Membership. Can you mail my Senior Partner Pass Membership materials to me directly?
No. The Senior Partner Pass will only be mailed to the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership.

 


8. Do I have to live at the same address as my senior partner if I have the Senior Partner Pass?
No; however the Senior Partner Pass will be mailed to the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership.

 


9. I am a senior, can I just buy a Senior Partner Pass by itself?
No. A Senior Partner Pass can only be purchased with a Senior Individual Membership or Senior Angler Membership - it cannot be purchased by itself.

The Senior Partner Pass is a second Senior Individual Membership purchased at a discount and sent to the address of the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership. 11. Do I have to be a senior to purchase a Senior Partner Pass? I want to accompany my father (or mother) who is a senior but I am not. Can I do this?
You must be a senior to have a Senior Partner Pass. The Senior Partner Pass is a second Senior Individual Membership purchased at a discount and sent to the address of the person buying the full-price Senior Individual Membership. If you are not a senior, you do not qualify to have either a Senior Membership or a Senior Partner Pass.

 


12. For a Senior Family Membership, do both named individuals have to be seniors? 
No. The head of household must be a senior (i.e. 62 years or older), but the 2nd named individual does not have to be a senior.
