The Trails Challenge program is self-paced and designed to get people outdoors by exploring some of the East Bay Regional Park District’s 65 parklands. This program is a great opportunity to improve your health, body, and mind while getting in touch with nature. Trails Challenge is designed for all ages, and all types and levels of trail users. Quest for 101 Birds in a Day
Join us on Saturday May 10, 2014 for an exciting, renewing, and rewarding birding quest, and at the same time help generate funds to support the Wildlife Volunteer Program. During this International Migratory Bird Day event, get “nose to beak” with birds, and visit several bird research and restoration sites, all along discovering “Why Birds Matter.” Our dawn-to-dusk adventure will take us through numerous park locations recording the “Feathered Jewels” they contain.
