Get Started today on the Trails Challenge 2010

The Trails Challenge program is a self-paced program, designed to get people fit and into the great outdoors by exploring the East Bay Regional Park District's 65 parklands. Registration includes access to the downloadable guide booklet, a free* organic T-Shirt, and commemorative pin for those who complete the Challenge (while supplies last).

The East Bay Regional Park District is celebrating its 75th Anniversary and has partnered with Kaiser Permanente and the Regional Parks Foundation to make the Trails Challenge program free* for everyone (while supplies last). We are staying with our going "green" theme and are hosting the program completely online. Register to receive the 2010 guidebook filled with trail descriptions, maps, driving directions, safety information, and more!

Before beginning the program, you must join this website by selecting New User Registration or simply Log In if you are a returning user. Please note: skipping this step will result in an inability to register for the program.

Trails Challenge is FREE* to those who meet the following requirements:
  1. Register for an online Regional Parks Foundation account.
  2. Register for the Trails Challenge 2010 program.
  3. Have proof of residency of Alameda or Contra Costa county OR, you are a Kaiser Permanente employee and you are a resident of Northern California.
  4. Download the Trails Challenge guidebook off of the Regional Parks Foundation website.
  5. Pick-up an organic T-Shirt at a Visitor Center or decline the T-Shirt.

Note: If you do not fit the above criteria, you may register for Trails Challenge for a fee. You will be asked to pay a fee if you choose a hardcopy of the Trails Challenge 2010 guidebook, or if you choose are unable to pickup your T-Shirt at one of our Visitor Centers.
